Catering Services
We are delighted to share our catering brochure. From morning breakfast baskets and freshly brewed coffee to casual feast, and elegant hors d’oeuvres, these pages are filled with fresh and contemporary menus. These represent only a starting point, however.
Our commitment to you is to customize menus as needed for any occasion. Whatever your event: a breakfast meeting, a faculty luncheon, a retirement party, you will find that we offer fresh ingredients, creative preparations, elegant presentation, and thoughtful service. Catering Policies
MENUS
Menu selection should be submitted to the Catering Office two (2) weeks prior for a Meal and one (1) week prior for a Refreshment Break. This will ensure ample time for adequate staffing and ordering. You may contact the Catering Office at 785-4198 or stop by the Mainstreet Market in the Student Union.
GUARANTEES
Guarantees as to the exact attendance for all functions are due three (3) days prior to your function. Please call the Catering Office at 785-4198 to notify us of your guarantee. If no final guarantee is received, we will consider the number indicated on the original function request to be correct. The guarantee is not subject to change after this deadline. As per your final count guarantee, we prepare five (5%) percent over to ensure your satisfaction. Please do not ask to take leftovers.
Billing will be based on final guarantee. Sodexho will bill for number of attendance or ninety-five (95%) percent of the final guarantee, whichever is more. We do realize that special events may arise unexpectedly. We are willing to help you with arrangements for those occasions.
DELIVERY CHARGE
Deliveries outside the Student Union less than $25 will have a $10 delivery charge. Orders from $25-$50 will have a $5 delivery charge. Orders over $50 will have no delivery charge. All china service outside the Student Union will have an additional charge of $1 per person.
PAYMENT
Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoice. If a discrepancy should arise, please forward your questions within five (5) days of receipt of invoice to the Food Service Office at 785-4197 or stop by the Food Service Office in the Student Union.
PHYSICAL SET-UP
For events in the Student Union, it is the guests responsibility to arrange food service tables and chairs, audio visual equipment, and registration tables through the reservation office. They can be reached at 785-4186. For events outside the Student Union it is the guests responsibility to make equipment arrangement with the Physical Plant at 785-4200.
LINEN SERVICE
Out charges include the linens for all dining service tables. Additional linens can be furnished for special set ups, registration tables, rush events, etc. For an additional fee of $5.00 per table cloth, (due to limited quantities of skirting, we may not always be able to accommodate these requests). Set up less than $25.00 will have a $5.00 linen charge if you want the refreshment table to be clothed.
